Journal Sketching

It all began with friends from the Denver Botanical Gardens School of Art & Illustration. We were graduating and wanting to stay in touch. So, Sally said she would get us organized with a mailing list. 6 of us bought a journal, made a sketch in the front of the journal, then sent it on to the next person on the list. I saw my journal again in July. And, again, in December. It encouraged us to stay connected and to be drawing! It is a discipline to continue to sketch, a discipline that trains our eyes to see!
