Spain

Skeet and I walked the Camino de Santiago. A walking pace is just the right speed for my thoughts to unwind, for my body to enjoy the outdoors, for hearing people’s stories, and for my soul to want to create! A few times, we stopped an extra day to rest. When we would do this, there was time and space to paint or draw in my journal. Time . . . and space . . . these are elements that are often given away or over scheduled. But when they are both present, it is a joy to fill them with creativity, with beauty, or with stillness. All of this is important. When the stillness is present, I see so much more!

On this day, I had lunch first. Then, I used my white plate as a palette and my water glass as my cleaning water! My napkin served as a help, too!!
